The summer of 2020 was… different. We were collectively exiting the “Tiger King” phase of early pandemic, experiencing toilet paper and cleaning supply shortages, and losing a varying amount of hours in our jobs–if we were lucky to have jobs at all.

The desire to start my own business has been in my mind since college, and in the midst of pandemic uncertainty and extra hours from being furloughed, I decided to take matters into my own hands and registered an LLC known now as CUSTODIAN.

Based on the premise that digital teams generally need extra help but often don’t have budget for an extra head, I formed CUSTODIAN to augment internal teams and lighten workloads.

Focused primarily on Salesforce Commerce Cloud/Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CUSTODIAN has been fortunate enough to work for clients such as Martin Guitars, Fox Racing, and Orvis, and has had the pleasure of working alongside agencies including Red Van Workshop, Elva Design, and Untouchable Consulting.

Since forming, CUSTODIAN has worked on three Commerce Cloud site launches, launched two sites on Red Van Workshop’s groundbreaking Autobahn for Commerce Cloud platform, built 489 emails on Marketing Cloud, has trained 3 client staff members, and has employed a few people with very competitive wages.

Feast and famine is definitely a thing, but CUSTODIAN is here to stay–I’m excited to grow it, and I’m excited to see where it goes.
